PORTLAND, OREGON

I recently was in Portland, Oregon and met some really great people! The music scene is great and the Someday Lounge was a really nice room w/ good sound. Enjoyed the music throughout the eve, especially White Rainbow’s set.
I also had the opportunity to have a drink and discuss life w/ Mr. Portland:
Other than that I’ve been improvising a lot w/ the computer, guitars and microphones for live performance. A much different process from my released works. And last night, officially, I started working on my follow up to Standing on a Hummingbird. It’s hard to say what the album will sound like or the direction it will take but the process will be very similar. I started a track called Their Light Reflected utilizing the banjo, guitar and voice. There are many edits until it’ll be ready. If it ever is… Anyways, I’m gonna try to commit to this blog thing so check back often. – mt
